The two continued to get into trouble together until February of 1979 when police were called to a home where they found Dahmer raping and dismembering 16-year-old Tracy Edwards. At the time of her death, Tracy was pregnant with Dahmer’s child.
Dahmer went on to commit additional murders over the next few months including 18-year-old Christopher Byers who he killed after kidnapping him while he was hitchhiking, 17-year-old Steven Hicks who he bludgeoned with a barbell before murdering him,

Kurt Wechsler, Jeffrey Dahmer’s brother, was convicted of second-degree murder in the 1991 death of 16-year-old Jordan Schroeder.
He was sentenced to 15 years in prison and released in 2001. Dahmer’s body was exhumed in 2017 and his DNA was ruled a match for that Schroeder.
Wechsler fled to South America after his release but was arrested on suspicion of kidnapping and homicide earlier this year. He has since been extradited back to the United States and is currently awaiting trial.
